On Cloudboom Max Fast Neutral Road Running Shoes

Long miles ask a lot of a shoe, and On's Cloudboom Max answers by stacking 40 mm of dual Helion HF supercritical foam under the heel. Engineered mesh wraps your foot over a roomy toe box that fits true to size, and an internal heel counter keeps the rear locked down. The 8 mm drop and forefoot rocker roll you smoothly through every push-off. It's the shoe you'll want on race day when you're chasing a four-to-six-hour marathon finish. **Product Highlights** • Rubber outsole across the medial and lateral edges grips wet roads with confidence • Semi-rigid plate underfoot keeps the ride firm and predictable mile after mile • Stable-neutral platform cuts the lateral sway that catches out many plated racers • Road Trail Run scored it 9.34/10 and ranked it among 2025's best all-round road trainers **Best For** • Runners trying a plated shoe for the first time • Long steady efforts in a half-marathon build-up • Easy recovery days when your legs want cushioning underfoot
